Jerry Hawkins - Archery Director

All ranges are under 24-hour camera surveillance.

The practice range is in good shape with a few new targets.  For those who haven’t been here for a while, we have a new footbridge to cross the creek up to the left of the trap fields, which will take you to the woods on the other side of Schultz Rd. The practice range has 12 practice butts situated at varying distances from a fixed firing line. This range is between the garage and the fisherman’s cabin at the end of the Schultz Road parking lot. The broadhead/crossbow range is to the far left side of the range. An elevated platform may be used to simulate a tree stand. No crossbows are allowed on this platform

Archery 3-D Course

  • Starting July 1, 2026, the 3-D is now complete and can be used
  • Members Only
  • Field points only, all bows welcome as long as you use field points
  • There is a sign at the beginning to let you know where it starts
  • 15 targets, at least one is out to 70 yds
  • There are pins every 10 yds at each target
  • Since this is not an event, be sure to check that you have a clear shot. We have members who walk dogs, and you never know where or when they are around

Have fun, but be safe – Come out and sharpen your skills for the upcoming hunting season.

*As a reminder to all members, the minimum age for unsupervised shooters is 18 years of age. This applies to rifles, shotguns, handguns, and archery. Anyone under the age of 18 participating in any of these actions must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
